Men's and Women's Basketball Fall in District Tournaments

On Saturday, March 7, both the Dean College men's and women's basketball teams participated in their district tournaments.

Men's basketball took on the Genesee Community College Cougars, representing Region III, in a match-up that ended in a 96-79 victory for the Cougars.

In the first round of the District Tournament, Dean women's basketball played the number one seed, Union County Community College (25-4). They lost a tough battle against the Owls, 62-57.

Congratulations go out to the coaches and players of our two talented basketball teams, who, for the second consecutive year, both made it to their district tournaments. This is a first in Dean College athletic history.
