      09/16/2014

On Saturday, September 20, Dean College hosted its annual Family & Alumni Day, a day chocked full of activities for students, children and alumni.

Throughout the day, attendees shopped in the bookstore and took campus tours. Many also attended an Open House at any School of their choice. The open houses were a great time for families to meet college deans, faculty and advisors, and to learn what students are studying in classes.

On an athletic note, alumni were able to participate in a yearly tradition: the Alumni vs. Men’s Lacrosse and the Alumni vs. Baseball games! Other athletic events included the 12:00pm Women’s Soccer game, the 1:00pm Football game (Dean lost 14-18 to HVCC) and the 2:00pm Men’s Soccer game. Hundreds of people took the shuttle from Dean down to Longley Field and enjoyed food and fun at the Game Day Cookout!

Following all the day’s events was the Dean Showcase at the Guidrey Center. This was a special evening of performances by alumni, students, faculty and staff who presented scenes, songs and dances for the Dean community.
