Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, August 28, students from
around the world will be arriving on campus to kick off the 2014-15 academic

Student Orientation (ISO) and Arch Orientation. ISO offers an opportunity
for international students to become acquainted with Dean and the surrounding
areas and Arch Orientation allows those
participating in the Arch program to become better acquainted with others in
On Monday, September 1, the remaining new and returning
students will move in and/or check-in to Dean College. Times and locations for
check-in vary depending on a variety of factors, so be sure to check out the Move-In Day web page
for all information. If you are moving in to a residence hall for the first
time, you will also find some tips on what to bring and what not to bring to
The Palladino School of Dance at Dean College will be holding a Faculty Works-in-Progress Showing on Sunday, November 16, 2014.
Faculty members participating include: William (Bill) Evans, Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Julianne O’Brien Pedersen, William Crowley, Erin Mayfield, Katie McNamara and others.
The event is FREE and open to the public. The first performance will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a second showing at 7:30 p.m. at Dean’s Performing Arts Studio (PAS) Stage, located on School Street in Franklin.

blind date, we are holding a Dance and Theatre Open House all next week.

Thinking of attending Dean College but can’t attend any of
the days of the Open House? We will also be holding auditions on Saturday,
November 15 for those applying Early Action for next fall or for the spring

On Tuesday, November 11, Dean College will be honoring its
veterans with a ceremony held on campus.
At 11:15am at the War Memorial on Awpie Way, Dean College
and members of the community will be honoring, recognizing and thanking members
of the Dean College and Franklin communities who have served our country. There
will be a reception following the memorial

On Friday, November 7, Dean College first-year students will
perform in the Synergy: Freshman Development show.
Beginning at 7:30pm and taking place in the Guidrey Center
in the Campus Center, the Synergy:Freshman Development show will include the
Class of 2018 dancers performing works by upperclassmen!
Tickets for the performance are $5/$10 and can be purchased

the fall sports season winds down, it’s now time for basketball season!
football team improved its record to 6-3 with a 26-14 win over Bridgton Academy
and will play their final game of the season on November 1st at
Longley Field at noon. The Women’s Soccer team played their final game on
Sunday, losing to CCRI, 3-0, and ending their season with a 9-8 record. Men’s
Soccer team completed its season with a 3-3 tie at AIC JV, ending with a 9-7 record.
