Dean College is proud to honor the distinguished group of contributors who, year after year, help the College prepare young people for success.

Membership in the Awpie Society recognizes donors of $1,000 and more in a single fiscal year.

Society members receive a variety of benefits, including recognition in College publications and exclusive invitations to events. Members of the Awpie Society, through their vision and generosity, are an inspiration to others and provide a vital support system for Dean’s pursuit of excellence.

“Awpie” was the nickname given to Dean Academy’s beloved longtime Headmaster, Arthur W. Peirce. In honor of his great history at Dean, the Awpie Society was created to recognize donors of $1,000 and more in a single fiscal year. 

Membership Requirement for the Awpie Society
To qualify for membership in the Awpie Society, a gift of $1,000 or more must be made by May 31, preferably to the Annual Fund. Matching corporate gifts are credited toward this total at the time the Institutional Advancement Office receives the corporate matching gift form. Gifts may be made via check, credit card or securities.

Benefits and Membership Privileges for the Awpie Society
Society members will be invited to participate in exclusive events throughout the year on and off the Dean campus. Recognition in College publications, guest speakers and presentations, private newsletters and social functions are some examples of membership benefits.
