Questions About Giving
Does my gift really make a difference?
Yes, every gift makes a difference. In addition to maintaining and improving facilities, equipment, and technology at the College, the Annual Fund supports student financial aid and scholarships. Why does Dean need my support?
Three quarters of the current students on our campus receive support from Dean through financial aid and /or scholarships. As the number of donors and dollars increases, more aid becomes available for our outstanding students. Your support can help qualified students who, without your help, would not be able to afford a Dean College education. What are Dean’s highest priorities for giving?
The Annual Fund, which supports the areas of greatest need at Dean including scholarships, student financial aid, equipment, technology, programs, faculty development and facilities, is the College’s highest priority for annual giving, and it is the simplest and most direct way alumni, parents, and friends can have the greatest impact on today’s Dean students.
Dean's priorities also include scholarships or naming opportunities.
What are the tax benefits of giving to Dean College?
Dean College is a non-profit, independent institution, recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS. Every gift to Dean is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Each gift is acknowledged with a letter of receipt to keep for your records. When is Dean’s fiscal year?
Dean’s fiscal year starts on June 1 and ends on May 31. We are currently in fiscal year FY09. Who can I contact about making a gift?
