Richard Fazzi
Head Coach (1st Year)

Rich Fazzi begins his first year as head coach at Dean College. Prior to Dean, Fazzi spent two years as Phil Rowe’s top assistant at Endicott College. Fazzi helped rebuild Endicott back to one of the top programs in New England. Last season Endicott won its first Conference Tournament since 2006. This earned them an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament where they lost in overtime to the 14th ranked team in the country, Oswego State.
Prior to Endicott, Fazzi spent five years as the associate head coach at Suffolk University. Before Suffolk, he was an assistant at Newbury College for one season.
Fazzi graduated from Becker College in 2004 where he was a three-year starter and two-year captain. He left the Worcester campus as the 8th all time leading scorer and also set the career field goal percentage record.
Joe Cabral
Assistant Coach (1st Year)
Joe enters his first season as an assistant coach at Dean College. Cabral graduated from Mount Ida College in the spring of 2012 with a bachelors degree in Sports Management. Cabral was a four year member of the basketball program and was a three year captain for the Mustangs. At the conclusion of his senior season, Joe joined the staff at Mount Ida as a volunteer assistant. He has worked for numerous basketball camps such as the Hoop Group and Swish Basketball. Cabral also coaches American Legion baseball in his hometown of Walpole. He also currently works in Operations for LA Fitness.
Jake Citron
Assistant Coach (1st Year)
Originally from Medway, Massachusetts, Coach Citron attended Medway High School where he was a two sport athlete playing football and track. Coach Citron then attended the University of Tampa where he majored in sport management and worked for professional organizations such as the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Recently Coach Citron was an administrator for Babson College Athletics but has moved on to pursue a coaching career. Coach Citron has been an assistant basketball coach at Medway High School since the 2006-2007 season.
