During the Lady Bulldogs first “Think Pink” night, in conjunction with the Student Government Association and the Sisterhood, the team raised over $1400 for the Dean College Relay for Life Team.  The Relay for Life Team walks every year to help raise money to defeat all types of cancer.  Also, this night celebrated our sophomores and all of their dedication to Lady Bulldog basketball.  Jenna Dicruttalo, Lakiesha Govoni, Kit-Kat Walker, Jelisa Fleming, Laura Johnson, Maria Casko and Sam Daley were all recognized.  Coach Jollon commented after the game “I am proud of the effort all of these young ladies put forth this evening.  We have been outmanned and outnumbered most of the year, and they have consistently worked hard without question and without hesitation.  More importantly tonight they  learned that their efforts and selfless dedication to an event like “Think Pink” can bring together our community in positive ways raising money and awareness for such an important cause.  I am proud of all of their work.”
