Dean College is a private residential college located on 100 pristine acres in Franklin, Massachusetts, just 45 minutes from Boston and Providence, Rhode Island. Each year about a thousand students find their confidence and their success through a unique program geared to individual learning styles. But academics isn't the only excitement. Stop by and you're likely to hear toes tapping or the roar of applause. Thanks to Dean's renowned Dance and Theatre programs, there's always a cultural or theatrical performance to take in. And with downtown Franklin and the commuter rail to Boston just a short walk away, there's always a new outing or adventure just around the corner.
Dean College has 950 full-time students and 500 part-time students, for a Full Time Equivalent enrollment of 1,048 students. Dean awards Associate Degrees for fifteen academic majors and Baccalaureate Degrees in Arts and Entertainment Management and Dance, in addition to several on-campus Bachelor Degree options through a partnership with Suffolk University. Outside of the classroom, sports are big at Dean. The Bulldogs field almost a dozen intercollegiate varsity teams, plus intramural teams, too. Other activities on campus range from Phi Theta Kappa to Ski and Snowboard Club.
