Franklin, MA -- September 16, 2010 -- Dean College welcomed 1,020 students for the fall semester, one of the largest classes in the College's history, and the largest in President Paula M. Rooney's tenure.  Dr. Rooney has been President of the College for 15 years.

     Five hundred and ninety seven new students arrived on Sunday, September 5; 409 students returned; and 90 international students make up the current student body.

     Students come to Dean this year from twenty four states and twenty three countries.

     This year, the College offers three new baccalaureate degrees in Business, Liberal Arts and Studies and Theatre.  The school also opened its new Dining Center and will unveil a 150-seat theater/performance space/classroom in October.
