The Theatre Arts major offers concentrations in Musical Theatre and Theatre. Both provide students with a rigorous curriculum that will prepare them for transfer and further studies in college, conservatory, or specialized performing schools. Both offer opportunities to audition for and participate in a variety of performing arts groups, including Music Theatre Ensemble, Summer Theatre and annual musical and dramatic productions. Students are also exposed to professional guest artists, as well as regional and national performances, to expand their knowledge of the theatre arts.

Musical Theatre students are trained in all three areas of musical theatre: music, theatre, and dance. Theatre students will develop a knowledge of all areas of the theatre arts, including performance, technical production and design.
