For more than 30 years, our dance degree students have been discovering the Dean Difference. At the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance, we are widely recognized as one of the top private colleges in Massachusetts and beyond for dance.
With a rich history including a selection in May 2012 for the prestigious honor of performing at the Kennedy Center to a unique relationship with the influential Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre and a rigorous focus on all four genres of dance – ballet, modern, jazz and tap, Dean College has proven to be the premiere college dance program in New England.
