School of Business

The Dean College School of Business was created in 2010 to answer the call of Dean's students for a challenging baccalaureate education in Business which incorporates embedded work experience throughout the curriculum.

Building upon the experience and success of Dean's associate degree programs in Business, the School of Business focuses not just on a single area of specialization, but exposes its students to all facets including marketing, accounting ,finance, management, technology and consulting.

Students majoring in either the two-year or four-year program will develop skills in communication, critical thinking, decision making and teamwork - all skills designed to mirror the exact skills that will get them hired and promoted.

Class work includes numerous opportunities to interact with national and international leaders in business and industry. The work on campus-based consulting projects in the first year to off-campus group consulting projects in the second and third years. This real-world work experience culminates in a comprehensive and independent placement in the senior year.

When students leave Dean with these solid fundamentals and experiences, plus on-the-job experience and a command of technology, well, they're in business.
