Dean started in 1865, with 44 students, so it's steeped in history and tradition--yet up-to-date with wireless internet access on campus, a 24-hour radio station, a smart -technology classroom, and many other modern features.
Dean College is a unique, co-ed private college that's home to 950 full time students, and 500 part time students, and a Full Time Equivalent enrollemnt of 1,048 students from all over the country and the world. They come for the small class size, TLC, state-of-the-art campus, and outstanding academic programs. They leave with associate degrees in one of 15 majors (98% of our graduates are accepted for transfer to 4-year schools) or a bachelor's in one of several majors including: Arts and Entertasinment Management, and Dance.

Bachelor's Degree options - Dean offers the SUFFOLK/DEAN combined degree program. It lets our A.A. graduates earn a Suffolk University degree in several majors right here on campus! Easy application process, generous scholarships.
Dance Degrees We're the only college in the
Northeast to offer both an A.A. and a B.A. degree in Dance. Whether your dream is to perform, to teach, to practice dance therapy, to go into arts management or dance research, or audition for Alvin Ailey's summer Intensive course, Dean will help you get a leg up.
Concentrate in Theater Arts or Musical Theater. Either way, you'll concentrate on performance, technical production and design. Both programs also offer opportunities to audition for and participate in a variety of performing arts groups. Or get into our Arts and Entertainment Management B.A. degree program that features business, technical and performance studies.
