Academic Programs All of our academic programs begin with a strong foundation in liberal arts, but students can work toward an associate degree in 16 areas, or a bachelor's degree in arts management or dance.

Our associate degree curriculum prepares you for a four-year education, with transferrable credits that you can apply toward a bachelor's degree, whether that's here on the Dean campus, through the Suffolk/Dean Partnership, or to a wide range of competitive colleges and universities where your Dean credits count toward a bachelor's degree.

Students who major in Communications/Public Relations, Criminology & Law, or Psychology can complete their bachelor's degree from Suffolk University while continuing to live on the Dean campus.

Academic Calendar
Dean College operates on a semester system with two 15-week semesters during the year. Dean also offers summer programs and a winter intersession semester. To view our 2007-2008 academic catalog, click here.

Student AdvisingThe College provides a variety of Advising services for international students. These include assistance with pre-arrival arrangements, an orientation program, sponsorship and advisement of the International Club, and support in making cultural transitions.

Dean also employs an experienced full time international student advisor to assist students with pre-arrival immigration questions and issues, and also work with international students to ensure that they maintain legal status while at Dean. In addition, the advisor is available daily for academic advising and counseling as needed.  For information on the advising function, or for pre-arrival information, contact:
