    As we approach 50 days to commencement, we wanted to check in with a few members of the senior class to learn about their experience at Dean. #waybackwednesday will feature a weekly Q&A with these students, giving YOU an inside perspective on student life at Dean College.

    What is your major? Why did you decide to pursue your selected major at Dean College?

    I am a sports management major. I’ve always been interested in sports and want to try to stay around the game as long as possible!

    What has been the best part of senior year at Dean?

    My senior season on the football team and being with my friends.

    Is there a specific faculty/staff member that had a positive impact on your time here at Dean? What did they do to help you grow as a student? What year did you meet them?

    Coach Vasey and the entire football coaching staff! I first met them my freshman year at Dean! They have helped me grow as a man, leader, and student athlete. I cannot thank them enough!

    What was your favorite event (sports, club/org, holiday, academic, etc) that you participated in during your time at Dean?

    Last season we played Monroe college at home for our final Junior College football game! Monroe was ranked top 20 in the nation coming into that game and we were just trying to finish strong! We ended up beating them the entire game and sent Dean off in winning fashion to end Junior College play!

    What was your all-time favorite meal at the dining center during your time at Dean?

    Steak dinner for the football team! I rock with the clam chowder soup too (white kind).

    Who was the first friend you met during your first year at Dean? How did you meet?

    Mike Ace Adams! My roommate and a close friend to this day.

    What advice would you give yourself as a freshman coming into Dean?

    Stay in the books and stay true to yourself.

    What does The Dean Difference mean to you?

    The Dean Difference to me means family.

    What are your plans after graduation?

    I want to continue to play football professionally and become a coach!
