A Dean education is one of the most important investments you will ever make. We realize that financing this investment is a primary concern for you and your family. Here we show you how the Dean College experience can be affordable for any family. Based on funds provided by Dean, your out-of-pocket cost will be significantly reduced. Approximately 90% of all full-time students at Dean College receive financial assistance that is NOT based on financial need. Dean provided students with more than $9 million of direct aid last year, with the average Dean financial award ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. These awards reduced the average student's cost by over 30%. In addition, many are eligible for federal and state financial aid, which is then added to Dean's institutional aid. Finally, this site will show you how to blend all available financing options -- Dean aid, federal and state financial aid, loan options and payment plan options -- in order to make your Dean dream a reality.

Dean College offers scholarships that are NOT based on demonstrated financial need. Since the mission of Dean College is to nurture the potential within our students, these scholarships focus on current performance as well as future potential. They are based on academic or athletic performance, performing arts talent, place of residence and academic potential. These scholarships are awarded during the admissions process.
Dean College offers need-based financial aid to eligible students to assist with financing a Dean education. In order to be considered for need-based financial aid, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted.
Award amounts vary and depend on your demonstrated financial need. Financial Need is determined by subtracting the Expected Family Contribution (EFC), from the Institution's Cost of Attendance (COA), as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
Note: Dean College can not guarantee that we will meet your need in full. Financial aid is contingent on the timeliness of your application, federal regulations, and the availability of funds.
Full-time students will be considered for all of the financial aid programs that Dean administers after receipt of a valid FAFSA. Student financial aid packages may be a combination of grants, loans and work study, contingent upon demonstrated financial need and the availibility of funds.
