    FootballAs the only two-year football program in New England, Dean College owns junior college football in this region. Participating in the NJCAA, the Bulldogs have won the Northeast Football Conference and competed in multiple bowls in recent years.

    Sadarius Williams opened up the scoring in the first quarter with his first college touchdown against the Framingham State JV on a 7-yard touchdown run, as the Bulldogs won their season opener, 35-0 on Saturday, August 30th. Quarterback Nick Roberts added two scoring strikes in the second quarter as Dean raced to a 21-0 halftime lead and never looked back. DiQwuon Harris lead all rushers with 81 yards on the ground with one touchdown.

    The defense was lead by Mikeice Adams with seven tackles, as the team had 3 interceptions and two fumble recoveries. They held Framingham to 39 yards rushing in a total team effort defensively.

    Next Saturday the Bulldogs open up their league schedule at home against Monroe College.  Game time is 12:00 pm.
