    Exercise Science

    The Exercise Science program offers an combination of academics and activity-based classes that enable students to explore a variety of career possibilities in the field. Ideally suited for those passionate about physical fitness, health, education and other sports-related endeavors, the Exercise Science program offers an exciting blend of coursework to challenge sports enthusiast across a multitude of disciplines. 

    Students majoring in Exercise Science with the goal of working in a health fitness or rehabilitation capacity will also take classes in fitness and conditioning, anatomy and physiology, and nutrition. In addition, they will focus on personal conditioning skills. Courses emphasize the principles and techniques for flexibility, strength, stability and balance—physical abilities that are essential to any fitness or rehabilitation program.
