Associate Degree in Health Sciences | Continuing Studies

Health care is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, leading to high demand for skilled professionals in every area of the field.

An associate degree in health sciences with a concentration in Pre-Nursing or General Health Sciences from Dean College offers great preparation for a dynamic career in nursing, nutrition, public health, medical lab science or any other sector of the industry.

Designed especially for working adults, the part-time program features coursework in anatomy, chemistry and microbiology in addition to a broad foundation in the liberal arts. In small classes, you'll work closely with faculty members who will get to know you as an individual.

With your associate degree, you'll be ready to transfer into a four-year program in nursing, exercise physiology, health science, health education, medical laboratory science, respiratory therapy, nutrition, or another health care field.
