The Accelerated General Business Degree enables Continuing Studies students to make use of flexible track options to accelerate their program. The School of Professional and Continuing Studies offers courses year round.
Courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters in both 7-week and full semester evening sessions, and Saturday mornings; in two or three-week sessions during the winter Accelerated Intersession and in two, four, or six- week sessions during the summer.
Technology, study groups or course projects are used as companion contact hours in the accelerated courses.
The General Business Degree may be completed in as little as 24 months (following the schedule below). Students intending to accelerate their General Business Degree Program are strongly encouraged to consult with an academic advisor.
New students must complete an individual student plan before exceeding nine (9) credits at Dean College. Returning and transfer students must meet with the Associate Dean and complete an individual student plan before matriculating as an Accelerated General Business Degree student. Students may enter the Accelerated General Business Degree program at the beginning of any semester/term.
Example of 24-month Accelerated Track for a Continuing Studies student beginning classes in September 2006 (assumes full participation and credits)
