Services Overview
Counseling Services is located in Chapman House on the Dean College Campus. Counseling Services is an integral part of the Dean Community and is a free service for all Dean College Students.
The Counseling office offers a variety of psychological and educational services to meet the mental health needs of Dean Students. These confidential services include: individual group and couples counseling referrals to off campus treatment providers as well as consultation to faculty, staff and parents as needed. Dean Clinicians also provide training, educational programs and outreach across the Dean Campus to contribute and to promote positive mental health and wellness.
Mission
Counseling Services mission is to work collaboratively with all students to support their academic success and personal growth during their time at Dean College.
Clinical Staff
The Counseling Office is staffed by professional, licensed clinicians, who offer a variety of skills and expertise. All of our clinicians are sensitive to issues of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and disabilities.
