The is a one-semester program designed to assist students as they make the transition from high school to college. The Pathway Learning Community gives students a chance to become familiar with the demands of college courses, sharpen their academic skills, develop relationships with peers, faculty, and staff, and learn to budget their time and resources for academic success. Because the program is small, faculty and staff have a chance to work closely with individual students, focusing on their specific concerns. The cost of The Pathway Learning Community is $2500 and includes two hours/week of Personalized Learning Services professional tutoring.
- Four course load (Psychology or Sociology, First Year Seminar, English, Math)
- 2 hours of Personalized Learning Services each week
- Additional structured academic support
- One course tuition and registration fee waiver at Dean for summer or winter course
- Academic advising from The Pathway Learning Community Coordinator
