Residence Hall Tour

Residential living is an Intregal part of campus life at Dean College.

Each student takes personal responsibility for making residential living a positive experience. Consideration, cooperation, self-discipline and an awareness of the rights and needs of others help build a sense of community in each residence hall. Residential living is an education in itself!!

Dean offers a wide selection of housing options including traditional style living, suite style or newly renovated houses on campus.

ADAMS HALL
Adams Hall is a co-educational residence hall by floor accommodating approximately 105 students. Adams offers standard singles, suite-style living (between 4-5 residents) and double rooms. Adams Hall has a full functioning kitchen and laundry facilities available on all floors.

BOURRET HALL
Bourret Hall is a co-educational residence hall by floor accommodating approximately 135 students. Bourret Hall offers double rooms. Students enjoy a common area television lounge, a kitchen, and small study lounges on each floor. Laundry facilities are available on all floors.

CLARK HOUSE
Clark House is an all female residence hall accomodating 12 students. Clark House offers single and
double rooms. Students enjoy a common lounge area on the first floor. Laundry and kitchen facilities are also available on the first floor.

DEAN HALL
Dean Hall is a traditional style co-educational by floor residence hall accomodating 106 students. This hall offers expanded singles and doubles. Both Dean 3rd (female) and Dean 4th (male) have access to newly renovated building laundry facilities. Each floor has a common area television lounge.

Ewen Hall
The first of the buildings known as the "Triad", Ewen Hall is a co-educational residence hall by floor accomodating 93 students. Ewen Hall offers singles, doubles and triples. All rooms are carpeted. Students enjoy an attached kitchen and lounge on the second floor. A laundry facilty is shared with Wallace Hall.

HOUSTON HOUSE
Houston House is an all male residence hall accomodating 15 students. Houston House offers single,
double, and triple rooms. All rooms are carpeted. Students enjoy a common lounge area on the first floor. Laundry and kitchen facilities are also available on the first floor.

Jones Hall
The third of the buildings known as the "Triad," Jones Hall is a co-educational residence hall by floor accomodating 93 students. Jones Hall offers singles, doubles, and triples. All rooms are carpeted on the second and third floor. Students enjoy an attached kitchen and lounge on the second floor. A laundry facilty is shared with Wallace Hall.

LUCEY HALL
Lucey Hall opened in the Fall of 1999. Lucey Hall is a co-educational residence hall by suite accomodating 88 students. Lucey Hall offers double and triple air-conditioned rooms. All rooms are carpeted. Lucey Hall has a full kitchen and attached laundry facility.
Starting Fall of 2007, this will be our Community Action building. Each suite will choose one local agency or organization and have program or activity with that agency each month.

MEMORIAL HALL
Memorial Hall is a co-educational residence hall by floor that accomodates 28 students. Memorial Hall offers singles, expanded singles, and doubles. All rooms are carpeted. Residents enjoy a large common lounge, study room,
and kitchen. Laundry facilities are also available on each floor.
Starting Fall 2007, this will be our Wellness Community, which is for students who are eager to learn more about incorporating wellness into her/his everyday life.

MITCHELL HOUSE
Mitchell House is an all-female residence hall that accomodates 25 students. Mitchell House offers double
and triple air-conditioned rooms.Residents enjoy a common lounge area on the first floor. Mitchell House has a full
kitchen and laundry facility.

Wallace Hall-12 Month Housing
The second of the buildings known as the "Triad," Wallace Hall is a co-educational residence hall by floor accomodating 107 students. Wallace Hall offers singles, doubles, and triples. All rooms are carpeted. Students enjoy an attached kitchen and lounge on the second floor.Wallace Hall has a laundry facility.
Starting Fall of 2007 the second floor will be our Global Awareness Community which is for any student who is excited about exploring life beyond her/his own culture and living with other students who are interested in the same goal.
