Honors and Study Abroad Opportunities

  • You're Smart. We're Honored.

So much goes into the college experience and learning opportunities exist all around the world. At Dean College, our study abroad and honors programs offer our students an amazing chance to strive and grow both academically and socially.

    Study Abroad

The personal and professional Internships and Study Abroadopportunities that await college students who choose to study abroad are endless. Confident, ambitious students in a bachelor's degree program at Dean College, who seek to become true global citizens, are encouraged to experience culture outside of their comfort zone by spending a semester abroad.

Bachelor's degree students in their junior year or first semester of their senior year who have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.000 or higher, may choose to study abroad for a semester or full academic year.

The Robbins Family Center for Advising and Career Planning can provide more information about program opportunities, the application process, and application materials. Personal advisors are available to work individually with students to plan an optimal study abroad experience for their chosen major and career goals.
Explore and consider various organizations that Dean has worked with, such as:
      GlobaLinksLearning Abroad
      Academic Programs International (API)
      Arcadia University
American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS)
      SIT Study Abroad
American College of Management and Technology in Dubrovnik
      Regents University London

The Dean College Honors Program is quite distinctive. While most college honors programs only allow students who meet certain designated criteria to participate in honors classes or activities, Dean's honors classes and activities are open to any student interested in stepping up to the increased rigor and academic expectations of these honors opportunities.

Take the next Step

  • I am fortunate to work with students in creating international travel opportunities...These short trips show students how exciting and meaningful travel can be, and inspires them to go for full-semester study abroad programs.
