Where are you currently employed? What industry is it in?

I work in the health and fitness industry as a business owner. I own and operate “Rockthatbody Nutrition & Wellness Over 50” located in Boston, MA.

What is your job title and how long have you been in your current position?

For the last five years, I have been the CEO as well as a Health & Wellness Coach.

Tell us about your job. What are some of the duties and activities you are responsible for?

I help improve the health and wellness of the “over 50” age group by providing customized nutrition plans and corrective exercise strategy. In short, I deal with the cause of health decline such as gut health, digestive function, the immune system and aches or pains related to aging/systemic illness.

What is the best and worst part of your job?

The best part is that I live my life with purpose. I literally change and inspire lives through one on one coaching education both online and in person. Honestly, I don't have a worst part of my job. I am a mindfulness centered coach that believes in client capabilities and I accept their hardships as opportunities for growth.

How did Dean College prepare you for your career?

I studied business management. Dean rebuilt my self-esteem from a difficult childhood and gave me business skills that I still use today. Dean ignited an "I can do this on my own" spirit which brought me through every setback I ever faced. I embrace change and lifelong learning as a result. I am not afraid to upgrade my skills and be better every day, I demand it of myself. I never give up.

As a Dean College graduate, you'll always be an important member of the Dean community.
