      Dean College Presents: Legally Blonde, November 15-19, 2017

      The School of the Arts at Dean College will perform Legally Blonde, beginning Wednesday, November 15 through Sunday, November 19, 2017.

      Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name, Legally Blonde tells the story
      of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner.
      Right from the start, Elle encounters negative reactions from both the establishment and the university’s students. During this musical, however, she not only discovers that her knowledge of the law can help others, but she also realizes an equally important faith in herself.

      Clive Barnes, in his New York Post review, wrote that he loved the "effervescent and radiant Laura Belle
      Bundy” (the original Elle Woods), and that the "dances certainly have a slick snap, crackle, and pop."

      The Dean College production of Legally Blonde will take place in the Main Stage in the Campus Center
      at Dean College, 99 Main Street, Franklin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday – Saturday and 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. General admission is $22, Seniors $12 and Children $7.

      Dean College to Host Saturday with Dean, March 24, 2018

      Join Dean College on Saturday, March 24, 2018 for an information session and tour of campus designed to help you better understand The Dean Difference. Sessions begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a tour of campus, allowing you plenty of time to enjoy the remainder of your day.

      Dean College Presents: Senior Showcase, March 16 & 17, 2018

      The School of the Arts at Dean College will perform Senior Showcase on Friday, March 16 – Saturday, March 17, 2018.

      Creating a performance from the ground up, our talented senior dance students share their choreography, performance and production expertise in this collaborative show.

      The Senior Showcase production will take place in the Main Stage within the Campus Center at Dean College, 99 Main Street, Franklin, MA at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online by visiting www.dean.edu/boxoffice

      Dean College to Host Saturday with Dean, March 10, 2018

      Spring Break 2018 Residence Hall Closing Information

      Dean College announces spring break residence hall closing information.

      The residence halls will close at 6:30pm on Friday, March 2nd.  The residence halls will re-open on Sunday, March 11th at 12noon.

      Prior to leaving students must do the following:

      -Ensure all trash is taken out of the room.    
      -Unplug all electronics.    
      -Unplug and defrost any mini fridge units.    
      -Lock all windows.    
      -Turn off the light, and lock the door.

      Residents who live further than 500 miles away, and need to stay late due to travel arrangements must go to Chapman House by Wednesday, February 28th to finalize arrangements. Charges will apply. Food is not provided during Spring Break.

      Students are also encourage to stop by Chapman House or speak with their RD if they have any questions.

      Watch Live: Dean College Basketball at USCAA National Tournament, February 28 – March 3, 2018

      Watch Dean College Basketball compete live at the USCAA National Tournament on February 28, 2018

      Update: The lady bulldogs lost to Silver Lake College 57-51. The women will play in the consolation bracket on Thursday, March 1st at 9:15 a.m. vs. Paul Quinn College. The men's team lost to Maine-Fort Kent 80-71. They will play in the consolation bracket on Thursday, March 1st at 10:00 a.m. vs. Florida College.

      The Dean College Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will compete in the USCAA National Tournament February 27 – March 3, 2018 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

      The women, who earned a #4 seed will play #5 seed Silver Lake College at 12:00 noon Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

      The men, who earned a #7 seed will play #2 seed Maine Fort Kent at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
