  • Major: Associate in Arts in Dance

Career Path: "Currently I am working as an office assistant for Metro West Allergy Medical Office. After graduating from Dean in 2010 I was lucky enough to land a job dancing for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. After my magical days at Disney came to an end I was signed to a national tour of the United States and Canada with VEE Corporation. I spent a year dancing for them when my dancing days came to an end due to an unexpected hip injury. Even though my days dancing on a tour and spreading magic at Disney has come to an end, I am beyond blessed to be a part of the Miss America Organization. This organization is the largest scholarship organization for young woman in America. This year (2013) marks my third year in the system. Without my education from Dean College none of this would have been possible."

Why Dean? "Dean was an amazing school for me. Even though I only spent two years at Dean, they were two of the best years of my life. I will never forget the long rehearsals that seemed to never end before show weeks, the grilled cheese from Boomers (that kept me going most nights), ballet class at 8 a.m. on Fridays, but most of all I remember all the friendships I walked away with. The staff at Dean College truly are one-of-a-kind. I have never met a staff that is so dedicated to teaching students. I did not matter if I was in Ballet class or Anatomy, the teachers were right there with you making sure you succeeded in every way possible."

Favorite Campus Memory: "My favorite memory from Dean would have to be my freshman year when I moved into my dorm. This was the first time I had ever moved away from my parents and felt like a free bird. I knew that one moment in time would change my life forever."

Memorable Quote: "It's kind of fun to do the impossible" - Walt Disney
