Register for Orientation
Orientation is your official welcome to Dean! You’ll meet new friends, connect with faculty and staff, and get everything you need to start strong. Register for Orientation
After You Enroll
Once you’ve secured your spot, complete these important steps to prepare for your first semester:
- Complete the FAFSA – Even if you think you won’t qualify, submitting the FAFSA can unlock scholarships, grants, and loans.
- Connect with Financial Planning – Schedule a one-on-one appointment to review your aid package or payment options.
- Set Up Your Student Portal – Access important forms, housing applications, and orientation details in your portal.
- Submit Health Forms – Massachusetts law requires proof of immunization and health insurance coverage. Contact Health Services at 508-541-1600 or healthservices@dean.edu for details.
- Explore Housing – Learn about living on campus and complete your housing application when it becomes available.
- Prepare for Technology Needs – Review what tech to bring and how Technology Services supports you on campus.
- Submit AP or Dual Enrollment Credits – Send official transcripts and AP scores (from College Board) to Dean for review.

I love that our community is small but mighty. It makes it so I get to know so many different people, and I always enjoy saying hi to passing friends while walking to class. Also, the opportunities that became available to me (starting as a freshman!) are incredible.
