Billing and Payments
Dean College offers several convenient ways to view and pay your student account balance. Review billing dates, access the Student Account Portal, authorize a parent or other payer, and explore payment options.
Access Your Student Account
Dean issues electronic bills through the Student Account Portal. Students sign in using their Dean credentials and can grant account access to a parent, guardian, or another authorized party.
Authorized parties receive an email with instructions for creating their own account credentials.

Important Billing Information
Electronic bills are generally available before the start of each semester. Students are responsible for ensuring that payment arrangements are complete by the published due date.
To avoid late fees, students should confirm that:
- The remaining account balance has been paid.
- Payment plans are active and current.
- Loans and required promissory notes are complete.
- Financial aid requirements have been satisfied.
Specific billing dates and deadlines should be displayed in a clearly labeled, annually updated alert near the top of the page.
Ways to Pay
Dean accepts several forms of payment:
- Online payment: Pay by electronic check, savings account, or accepted credit card through the Student Account Portal.
- Payment plan: Domestic students can divide eligible semester costs into monthly installments through Nelnet.
- Mail: Send personal, bank, or 529-plan checks to Dean College, Attn: Student Accounts, 99 Main Street, Franklin, MA 02038. Please include the Dean student ID number when mailing in payments.
- Phone: Make a payment through Nelnet Campus Commerce at 800-609-8056; Monday-Friday from 8 am-10 pm EST and Saturday from 9 am-3 pm EST.
- Wire transfer: Please click here for wire instructions.
- Education loan: Students and families may use eligible federal or private education loans to cover a remaining balance. Explore Payment Plans and Loan Options.
