    Helping Students Assimilate

    Dean welcomes international students and conducts an orientation program at the start of each semester to help you prepare for college in the United States. International Student Orientation (ISO) combines fun activities with helpful workshops and presentations on academic support, technology services, immigration, advising and residence life. You'll also have a chance to meet our faculty and staff, connect with other Dean students, and make lots of new friends! 

    International Student Orientation (ISO) - 
    For Students Entering Spring 2017

    Welcome to Dean College! International students enrolling at Dean College for the Spring 2017 semester are required to attend International Student Orientation (ISO) from Friday, January 13th through Monday, January 16th. The full schedule will be available in the weeks leading up to orientation.  You will find highlights of each orientation day below:

    Arrival and Campus Registration
    Dinner with the Orientation Leaders 

    SATURDAY, JANUARY 14
    Welcome and Introductions

    • Bank Visit, SIM Cards & Campus Tour
    • Residence Life and Housing
    • Staying Safe & ID Photos
    • Immigration Requirements

    Getting Connected and Math Assessment 

    SUNDAY, JANUARY 15
    English Placement Testing
    Cultural Adjustment and Campus Involvement  

    MONDAY, JANUARY 16
    Academic Advising and Your Schedule and Scheduling Questions 

    CLASSES BEGIN ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 17TH!
