It is with a blend of gratitude and well wishes that the Board of Trustees announces President Kenn Elmore will be stepping down from his position at Dean College. Since taking the helm after the tenure of our long-serving prior President, President Elmore has been guiding the institution through a crucial transition period.

Under President Elmore's stewardship, Dean College has not only navigated this period of change successfully but has also made significant strides toward becoming a more integrated partner within the Franklin community. His efforts have led to enhanced community engagement initiatives and a strengthened bond between the College and the area it proudly calls home.

Furthermore, President Elmore’s enthusiastic advocacy for Dean College has been instrumental in promoting the institution to a wider audience. His passionate commitment to enhancing the College's profile and reach has introduced Dean to new horizons, drawing students, faculty, and partnerships that enrich our diverse and vibrant community.

The Board of Trustees extends its deepest gratitude to President Elmore for his service, commitment, and leadership.

While we prepare to navigate this transition, the Board is committed to ensuring a seamless and thoughtful process to identify a successor who will continue to advance the mission and values of Dean College. In the interim, we remain dedicated to our students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the Franklin community, upholding the standards of excellence that have been significantly bolstered under President Elmore's guidance.

Please join us in expressing our heartfelt thanks to President Elmore for his contributions and in wishing him all the best in his future endeavors.
