Transfer students are well aware of the value of a college education. At Dean, we provide more than $20 million of institutional funds in the form of merit scholarships and grants to make your education as affordable as possible. 90% of our students receive merit scholarships and approximately 80% of our students receive federal and state financial aid.

Applying for need-based financial aid with the FAFSA is an important step. We are confident that the combination of all available need- and merit-based awards will place Dean on a comparable level with other colleges and universities.

All transfer students are considered for merit scholarships at the time of admission. There is no separate application required. You may be eligible for as much as $35,500 in merit scholarship funding!

  • Academic scholarships range from $12,000 to $30,000.

Transfer students are also eligible for one of the following additional awards:

  • Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members with at least 45 college-level credits are eligible for a Transfer PTK Scholarship from $3,500 - $5,500 depending on number of credits earned or associate degree attainment.
  • Students who have earned a minimum of 45 college-level credits are eligible for an additional $3,000 Transfer Achievement Award.
  • Students who have earned an Associate Degree or have earned over 60 college-level credits are eligible for an additional $5,000 Transfer Achievement Scholarship.
