Hear directly from recruiters and hiring professionals about what employers value when reviewing résumés, interviewing candidates, and making hiring decisions. The panel will share current insights from across industries, including:

- Common résumé and interview mistakes
- How employers assess candidates
- Strategies for presenting your experience effectively
Following the panel, participants may meet individually with recruiters and Career Services staff for résumé reviews and personalized feedback.
Session 2 - Building Your Personal Brand: Tell Your Story with Confidence

Your professional brand communicates who you are, what you value, and what you bring to an organization. This session will help you tell that story clearly and consistently – whether you are entering a new field, starting out as an entrepreneur, pursuing your next opportunity, or strengthening your professional presence. Topics will include:
- Defining your professional identity
- Communicating your skills and experience with confidence
- Creating consistency across your résumé, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, networking conversations, and interviews
- Strengthening how you present yourself to employers and professional contacts
