Upload appraisal of receipt for Gift-in-Kind

For gifts with a value of $5,000 or more, a qualified appraisal is required no earlier than 60 days before the appraisal property's contribution date and no later than the extended due date of your tax return, per the IRS. In addition, Form 8283 must be completed, signed by the qualified appraiser and attached to your return. As always, please consult your advisor for how IRS tax rules apply to you.
