The Center for Business, Entertainment and Sport Management

  • A Partnership of Academics and Modern Business

In April 2015, the Kraft Sports Group and Dean College collaborated to establish The Center for Business, Entertainment and Sport Management. Through the creation of this Center, both parties aim to offer greater opportunities for the Dean College student studying Arts and Entertainment Management, Business, Media Studies and Communications, Security Management, Sport Management and Sports and Fitness Studies.

Some of the academic, athletic and internship opportunities The Center for Business, Entertainment and Sport Management will provide our students, inside and outside of the classroom, will include:

    • Participation of Patriots and Revolution executives in the classroom.
    • Introduction of a scholarship program for Dean students.
    • Use of Gillette Stadium and other KSG facilities as a laboratory for learning.
    • Development of a formalized internship program for Dean students within the Kraft Sports Group.
    • Access to training facilities and various strength, conditioning and nutrition programs through the Patriots and Revolution organizations for Dean student-athletes.

The best education is equal parts traditional learning and hands-on experience. At The Center, we take this one step further by introducing a cutting-edge curriculum combined with the opportunity to hear and interact with business executives spanning multiple areas of expertise.

In addition, we offer the opportunity for hands-on learning in the classroom and on-location at One Patriot Place. Business is more than theory and at The Center, students are sure to experience this first-hand.

Dean College is currently working towards membership within NCAA Division III. What better way to introduce ourselves than providing our student-athletes access to some of the greatest facilities, equipment and training staff in professional sports?

Be on the ground floor of an exciting time for Dean Athletics!

At the heart of our partnership is a commitment to provide our students real-world opportunities. For many Dean College students, this includes the chance to complete one of many internships available through the Kraft Sports Group, including the New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Patriot Place and Gillette Stadium.

Students can enhance their resumes, earn money and build their list of contacts by working for one of the most influential global organizations in the United States and the world.

Take the next Step

  • The Sport Management program at Dean is a very good program. The professors provide you with everything you need to know about the sport industry and get you prepared for a sport-oriented life after college.
