    New Student Orientation

Dean's New Student Orientation (NSO) program is required for all incoming students. NSO is designed to prepare you for a successful introduction to college.  NSO is a program that will allow students and their families to sample many aspects of Dean College. Along with fun activities, NSO (and ISO for international students) offers helpful workshops and informative presentations to make the transition to college as easy as possible.

The required program will familiarize you and your family with the academic support, technology services, and residence life programs available on campus. You'll also have a chance to meet our faculty and staff, connect with other Dean students, and make lots of new friends!

Important Information for New Students Who Did Not Attend NSO

On Monday, September 4 from 11:30am-12:30pm there will be a meeting for new students who did not attend an orientation over the summer.  Important information regarding advising, getting involved on campus and an overview of the College’s expectations of the members of our community will be shared.  Families are welcome to join their students.  More details will be given out when you arrive on campus for check-in.

Directions to campus can be found on our Map and Directions page.

Massachusetts state law and College policy requires that all students provide certain medical forms including immunization records and a physical exam. Please visit the Health Services webpage for more information and to access the required forms.  Some of these forms are to be completed by the student’s primary care physician.

Have you reserved on-campus housing? After you pay the enrollment deposit and receive your Dean College email account and password, you can log in to Today@Dean and complete the online Housing and Dining Request form.
