Below is the timeline of events for the 2026 Commencement celebration.
Friday, May 8
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Graduating Student Awards Ceremony
Guidrey Center, Dr. Paula M. Rooney Student Center
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Commencement Reception for Graduating Students and Families
Dr. Paula M. Rooney Student Center Concourse and Main Stage
Saturday, May 9
8:30 p.m.
Breakfast for Graduates in Student Center Atrium.
Please note: only Dean graduates, faculty, staff are invited
9:00 a.m.
Seating in front of Dean Hall is open for guests.
9:30 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
Graduates check in at the Guidrey Center. No guests permitted.
10:10 a.m. - 10:40 a.m.
Greetings from faculty and staff and instructions will be given to graduates for the ceremony.
10:45 a.m.
Processional of graduates, faculty, 50th Society and platform party begins along Awpie Way.
11:00 a.m.
Dean College Commencement Exercises begin in front of Dean Hall.
4:30 p.m.
Graduates must be moved out of the residence halls.
