At Dean College, you’ll find majors, minors, and specialized tracks designed to help you discover your passions and reach your full potential. Every Dean student benefits from:

- Apply: Submit your application through the Dean College Application or the Common App (opening August 17, 2026).
- Optional Materials: Test scores, essays, and letters of recommendation are not required, but you’re welcome to include them if you’d like to provide more context.
- Automatic Scholarship Review: Every applicant is automatically considered for merit scholarships. No separate forms or essays needed.

Does Dean College require SAT or ACT scores?
No. Dean College is test-optional. You are welcome to submit SAT or ACT scores if you feel they strengthen your application, but they are not required for admission.
How do I apply to Dean College?
You can apply using either the Common Application or the Dean College Application. Both options are free, and all applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships.
What are the application deadlines?
Dean offers several application options, including Early Action and Regular Decision.

Are essays or letters of recommendation required?
No. Essays and letters of recommendation are optional, but submitting them may provide helpful context for your application.
How do I apply for scholarships at Dean?
You don’t need a separate application. All applicants are automatically reviewed for merit scholarships when they apply for admission.
Do transfer students have different requirements?
