On Saturday, August 9, Dean theatre alumni gathered for an unforgettable evening of performance and connection at Stone-E-Lea Golf Club in Attleboro.

On a perfect summer evening, alumni and guests arrived with lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy Homebrewed Theatre’s outdoor production of Knotty Habits, a bold and heartfelt piece directed by longtime Dean faculty member Jim Beauregard. The performance was not just a raucous whodunnit, it was also a family reunion of sorts as many of the cast and crew were Dean Theatre alumni themselves.

Following the show, Dean alumni moved into the Stone-E-Lea clubhouse, where the energy and laughter continued. There was a genuine spirit of camaraderie, as theatre alumni from across decades swapped stories of past productions and expressed excitement about creating new memories and projects together.

Jim shared heartfelt remarks, reflecting on the power of theatre to create lasting bonds and special pride he feels working with former students.

Thank you to all the alumni who joined us, and a special thank you to Stone-E-Lea Golf Club owners David and Rachael Lapierre, who opened their doors and hearts to the Dean alumni community. Their ongoing support of Homebrewed Theatre, and by extension, Dean College Theatre alumni, means so much to us.
