Every week, we’re showcasing our graduating students as they prepare to say goodbye to Dean. On each #TransformationTuesday, you’ll get a before and after look at where they started vs. where they are now. Next up is Sports Broadcasting major George Hathaway ’23!

George: “My experience at Dean has shaped me by learning to grow outside of my comfort zone and take advantage of every opportunity.”

Q: What is your favorite memory from your time at Dean?

George: “My favorite memory at Dean has been being able to be Co-President of Dean News Network, a club on campus, and being a Co-Sports Director for the Broadcast Team. I was able to make new friends and make content that will help me in the future.”

Q: How has Dean prepared you for the future?

George: “Dean has prepared me for the future through classes I took. I have been able to learn hands-on what working in the broadcast industry will be like. Because of Dean College, I have been put in leadership positions that have enhanced qualities that future employers are looking for.”
