Senior Week Schedule

Senior Week: May 13- 17  

Congratulations Class of ’24!  

We have put together a terrific week of celebratory events leading up to the 158th Dean College Commencement. Your School and/or Academic Program will also be hosting a gathering during the week. You will receive information directly from your School or Academic Program about what has been planned.

Senior Week is for December ’23 graduates, May ’24 graduates and August ’24 graduates. Graduates, please refer to the Senior Week RSVP in your Dean email to let us know if you will be residing on campus. RSVP’s are due by Monday, April 15. Seniors will have a $50 fee required for Senior Week festivities.  

It is encouraged to bring additional funds where some activities have been supplemented and you may wish to purchase additional items at others (you will see an * where this applies).  

Students that reside on campus Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 will need to provide meals on their own. Beginning Monday, May 13 through and concluding with a celebratory brunch on Friday, May 17, brunch and dinner will be provided each day.  

Schedule of Events 

Monday, May 13 

9:00am- 10:30am | Check-in | Chapman House 

• Commuters and December graduates will check-in at Chapman House to get your Residence Hall key.  
• All those participating in Senior Week should stop by to receive your official Senior Week wristband. 

11:00am- 1:00pm | Kick-off Brunch and Champagne Toast | President’s Backyard 

• Join President Elmore and staff to celebrate your accomplishments. 
• Enjoy food and games with your peers. 
• Learn more details about the week of events and expectations. 

1:30pm - 3:30pm | Cap Decorating and Senior Slide Show | Student Center Atrium 

• Design your mortarboards to show off your creativity.  
• Sign up for photography slots on Tuesday. 
• Write a thank you to faculty and staff that have helped along the way 

8:00pm- 11:00pm | Night at Teddy | Teddy Gallagher’s Pub 

• Food, fare and music with your fellow graduates at Teddy’s!  

• First beverage is on us! *Cash bar remainder of the evening.  

Tuesday, May 14 

10:00am- 2:00pm | Senior Photo Session | Awpie Way 

• Get a great group shot in your cap and gown.  Sign up will be required. 

12:00pm- 2:00pm | Beer Garden and Cook-out. 

• Games, food and fun on the main quad. *Two beverages included. 

7:00pm | Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays | Fenway Park 

• Take the train into Boston and head over to historic Fenway Park. Ticket and a Class of ’24 t-shirt included (Limited number of tickets. Sign-up required). *Additional funds required for train and ballpark concessions.   

7:00pm - 11:00pm | Boomer’s Sports Bar | Boomer’s Restaurant 

• For those remaining on campus, join us to watch the NHL or NBA playoffs, billiard tournament, open mic and trivia. Cash bar for alcoholic beverages.  

Wednesday, May 15 

12:00pm- 3:00pm | Field Day and Scavenger Hunt | Grant Field 

• Take part in games, crafts, prizes, food and the return of the staff/ student softball game! 

5:00pm- 11:00pm | Night at Patriot Place | Foxboro 

• *Stroll and enjoy the restaurants, retail and nightlife at Patriot Place. Exclusive discounts for Dean students at attractions. 
• Transportation provided throughout the night. 

Thursday, May 16 

5:00pm- 7:00pm | Food Trucks | Patio, Lawn and Fire Pit 

• Enjoy a sampling of savory foods with friends.   

7:00pm- 11:00pm | Final Hoorah | Main Stage, Patio and Fire Pit 

• A final night of revelry in Bulldog Nation. Big prize bingo, novelties, music and more! 

Friday, May 17 

11:00am- 1:00pm | The Last Breakfast | Smith Dining Center 

• Come together for your final meal at Dean. Wonderful time to stroll down memory lane as you dine with a Mimosa Brunch and delectable entrees. 

5:30pm- 6:30pm | Graduating Student Awards Ceremony | Guidrey Center 

• All are welcome to attend. Award recipients will be notified by special invitation a few weeks prior to the event. 

6:30pm- 8:00pm | Student and Family Reception | Main Stage and Patio 

• A reception for all graduates and their families. Grab a photo with faculty and staff along with light fare and beverages. Congratulations Class of ’24! 

Saturday, May 18 

9:30am | Commencement Check-in I Guidrey Center  

• Report to the Guidrey Center for Graduation Check-in. There will be a continental breakfast in the Student Center Atrium. 

11:00am | 158th Commencement Exercises I Awpie Way 

• 158th Commencement Exercises begin. Congratulations Graduates! 

Sign Up Details 

• Sign Up Deadline: Monday, April 15, 2024 
• Eligibility: Dean College students eligible to graduate in May 2024, August 2024 or recently graduated in December 2023. Students may only participate in Senior Week Activities once.  
• Cost: $50.00 per student. Payments may be made via this link: https://payit.nelnet.net/form/kZIV8IXk Students with a credit on their Dean College financial account may use this for their Senior Week payment. Credit notifications have been sent to the student’s Dean College email. 
• Cash Bars:  

• On-Campus cash bars are Dean College prices and accept cash only as payment. There are multiple ATM’s within close proximity to campus. 

• Off-Campus cash bars are dependent on the venue and will accept cash or credit/ debit card as payment. 

• Guests: No guests are permitted on campus or at any Senior Week events. 
• Campus Policies: Dean College Student Code of Conduct policies remain in effect throughout Senior Week, both at on-campus and off-campus events.
