Career Planning | For Parents and Families

  • You Play an Important Role

As the parent or relative of a Dean College student, you are at the forefront in helping support your student prepare to enter the workplace.

Dean's Office of Career Planning and Internships will support those efforts at every step of the way. We offer a comprehensive For Parentsarray of career services to help your student explore the options, gain experience-and find a rewarding job.

For instance, we offer one-on-one career counseling sessions that help students refine their career goals and chart a course to meet them. We also provide plenty of guidance in essential skills like resume writing, interviewing, and networking.

Dean students also have access to hundreds of job and internship opportunities through CareerLink, our online career management database.

We hope you'll encourage your student to visit the Office of Career Planning & Internships at the Robbins Family Center for Advising & Career Planning early and often. And if you have questions about career planning at Dean.
