Enrolling at Dean for Spring 2021

Students accepted for Spring (January) enrollment are asked to submit their deposit within three weeks after receiving admissions notification. The enrollment deposit will hold your place in the entering class ($500 for resident students, $250 for commuters). If you are concerned about making a commitment to Dean within that time frame, please contact your admissions counselor to request an extension.

Students enrolling for the Spring 2021 semester have the option to take a combination of face-to-face and online classes as resident or commuter or take all classes online while residing at home. If you choose to take your classes all online, please contact your Admissions Counselor or the Admissions Office at or 508-541-1508 as soon as possible.

We believe that Dean is a good fit for you, but before making your final decision, we encourage you to learn a little more about us. Here are a few easy steps to make your enrollment at Dean a reality.

Apply for Financial Aid

Complete the FAFSA form to be considered for financial aid. The majority of our students receive some form of financial assistance and even if you think you won't qualify, submitting the FAFSA may make you eligible for an award from Dean's institutional funds.

Enrolling Students Next Steps Spring 2021

After submitting your enrollment deposit you can login to your Application Status Portal to access your Enrollment Checklist. 


All students who will be new to Dean College for the Spring 2021 semester will be required to attend the orientation program that will be held virtually on Thursday, January 14th at 3:30 p.m. EST.

Students and families are asked to register for January Orientation by Monday, January 11.

Bulldog Beginnings

All first-year students who entered Dean in Fall 2020 and January 2021 and will be living on or commuting to campus during the Spring 2021 semester will participate in Bulldog Beginnings. This program will take place in the days leading up to the start of the Spring 2021 semester.

Spring 2021 Academic Schedules

All students will have a virtual one-on-one meeting with their Success and Career Advisor to plan a Spring course schedule. You will receive an email from your Advisor in December to schedule the virtual meeting, and following that meeting, your Success and Career Advisor will create your schedule before the start of the Spring semester.

Submit Required Health Forms and Insurance Information

After submitting your enrollment deposit, please submit the Required Health Forms. A physical examination, health form and medical history, and evidence of immunizations and qualified health insurance coverage are required by Massachusetts law or College policy.
