The Certificate in Early Childhood Education is designed to fulfill the requirements for qualification from the Massachusetts Office for Child Care Services/DEEC qualification. In addition to completing courses, students must satisfy their field requirements to reach teacher or lead teacher qualification.
Dean’s entire ECE faculty holds Massachusetts Office for Child Care Services/Department of Early Education and Care certification. This program provide students the perfect balance between practical and theoretical learning to prepare graduates for a career as a childcare provider or for transfer into a baccalaureate program in education studies.
