    Coaching and Recreation

    Do you have a passion for sports? Are you interested in coaching youth, recreational teams, club sports or other higher-level sports teams? If you answered yes, then the Coaching and Recreation program might just be for you! 

    Your courses will focus on the fundamentals of fitness, conditioning, anatomy, physiology and nutrition. You will learn how to articulate and apply coaching techniques, competitive tactics and strategies appropriate to the sport environment. Through internships and preacticums, you will have many opportunities to practice your skills and put you knowledge to use both in ad out of the classroom, including with working directly with a Dean College athletics coach. Plus, you'll have the chance to complete one of many internships available theatergoer the Kraft Sports Group, including with the New England Patriots. 

    Today's Coaching and Recreation graduates can enjoy rewarding careers as educators, personal trainers, coaches, rehabilitation specialists and more.
