    Associate Degree in History

An associate degree in history at Dean College provides excellent preparation for a career in law, education, business, public service, academics and much more.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of the cultural, political, economic and religious factors that have forged our world. In small classes, you’ll hone your communication and analytical skills and  emerge as a flexible learner.

The history curriculum features in-depth coursework on world civilizations and U.S. history in addition to special topics showcasing faculty research and interests.

Most history majors at Dean transfer to four-year schools to study history, political science or government. Many then go on to graduate school before launching successful careers in education, research, communications, advocacy, public service, public relations, or any field that captures their interest.
